Rachel Project International

Family Food Box Initiative: Responding to the Pandemic
Opportunity Closes November 10, 2020

Providing a “fish” to families in need during
the pandemic through Family Food Boxes
with over 55 lbs. of Assorted Foods

Support a family now
Contact us at (954) 434-8220 or nsied2002@aol.com to help a family in need today.

Rachel Project International is in its Fifth Year as a Venture  Philanthropy Project providing support to Women, Girls, and Youth in Agriculture and Microbusiness (WGYAM) to start their businesses or become gainfully employed using Training, Technical & Resource Assistance and Access to Capital.

The Mantra of the Rachel International Project is to Teach a Person to Fish. However, due to unprecedented circumstances from the Global Pandemic, for the most vulnerable families -- if a fish is not given at some critical points, there will be no energy to fish. The initiative involves supporting 200 women as head of households in  ten (10) villages in two rural regions in St. Ann, Jamaica.

Join NSI, Our Friends (FONSI), Local In country Faith-Based-Organizations, Community-Based-Organizations, and Private Sector Partners in Seeding this Initiative with a small gift of US$60 per family, which is tax deductible. Of this $50 will be spent on the Family Food Box and $10 they use to set up a Saving Account to building up an Individual Resilient Fund Account at their Local Bank or Credit Union.

NSI is requesting each Donor to adopt between 2 to 5 families with a one-time donation.   Through a designated match, each donor to provide US$60/Family.  We are targeting US$12,000 to feed 200 four-member families across 10 villages in Jamaica for the month of December 2020.

All Donations are tax deductible. As a thank you, you will receive information and Pictures of each Family you have supported.
